The Mods Have Terrible Customer Service

MrShoe sees the community's ideas through his email box, and he never reads his emails! The most annoying part of that for me is that you send a email, and you expect it to be answered, or atleast with a simple reply.

The moderator's customer service is awful, I've sent 2 email's with no reply. Recently the game has been about one thing: $$$. The moderators are too busy trying to invent ways to accumulate money when they should be thinking actually about the community and there opinions of the game. So really I think a new moderator should be made, preferably a veteran. Someone who is well known with the EE community and can present those ideas to Chris And to Mr(shoe and void). Then the moderator whoever she/he would be would have a good connection with the mods so they could share the community's responses to there updates and other suggestions.

MrShoe sees the community only through his email box, he never goes on the forum to see the great ideas people have created. The forum is essential for people to express there ideas, in hope that some of there ideas would be implemented.

Lets put this into another perspective:

~MrShoe and Mrvoid (Work on updates, I bet they have aplenty of time to look through there email boxes)
~Chris (Never sent him a email but I bet he has poor customer service)

And all the other moderators are inactive.

I think it would be great for a well respected veteran to be a made a mod, then he/she could implement the amazing ideas that have been raised by us forumers.

Loads of topic's have been made in Graphic Suggestions, some of the most noticeable ones like Brushfire's Graphics and Sleepy's Graphics

All I want is for there hard work to be seen and for someone to actually pay attention to the community.

Is that too much to ask?

Sometimes emails that are sent are read by Shoe. Granted, it's a rare sight, but it's not like it hasn't happened yet.

My theory for why he has never visited/made notion of a visit:

From the moment Shoe would click this forum, he'd see all the terrible stuff we've said about him. All the threats and frustrations, everything. He knows this. He doesn't have to stray from the game itself to know that he has a pretty big anti-fan club. If he were to visit the forum, he'd know he would see all the unfiltered complaints bashing him on this and that, and I have the feeling he really doesn't want to. He doesn't want to take responsibility for the anger that his players have shown, and the best way to do that? Don't visit at all.

It's been a while since I've sent an email to MrShoe, but back when I did, which was a little less than a month ago, he responded to almost every single one of my emails.

I'm almost certain he reads everything sent to him, he just doesn't bother replying.

*its everbodyedits's customer service - not the customer service of the mods. if you want to see a great example of good customer service visit http://bufferapp.com and write them an email just containing "hi, how are you?" i bet you get a friendly answer.

Well, I've e-mailed Julian at least 3-5 times with legitimate screen shots of children cussing and acting childish, and not once I have I seen the trouble makers get warned, nor have I gotten a response. Also, my friend Vasum01 and I spent a whole week making a level for the featured tab, and he completely ignored it.

The moderators don't care, they pretend to care, but they don't. If your looking for a game where the administrators actually pay attention to their community, you've come to the wrong game.

I do not think at all that there is a lack of communication between mods and players and their ideas. It has been said that MrShoe does go on the forum. However it would be good to have more people to check emails.

Or how about he's been busy at the conference mentioned in another post? Same with MrVoid....If you guys really want information then I'll wake up EARLY on my Spring Break for you guys and ask MrVoid and MrShoe questions tomorrow or on Thursday if the update is delayed. The update does usually happen around 7 am EST or a little later (sometimes earlier like at 6:30 EST). I'll post what information I get here on this topic as soon as possible.

I really had the same idea today! There should be a mod who listens to the community and cooperates with Shoe and Void. And it doesn't have to be someone who is a very good programmer, he just needs to be the representative of the community.

@Bobyy I'm pretty sure the rumours of MrShoe being fired was an April Fools joke.

I have only ever emailed a dev once and I didn't get a reply. Probably not all that relevant to say but just saying.

I think they should ask the community questions about the next update. I remember once they put up a poll on the blog asking what should be included in the next update. They should do more things like that.

First of all, why would you expect children to act anything BUT childish? They're CHILDREN. Acting CHILDISH is what they do. I've wondered about this for the past two days and it still doesn't make any sense. Why would children acting how they normally act -- hence why there's an adjective based on their actions -- be a bad thing? I'm pretty sure Julian isn't on the constant lookout for new levels to be on the featured tab, nor would he put one on that was specifically made for that. I don't think the moderators even pretend to care. They never have and it's laughable that people think this has changed at all. It's been a common fact for the last three years that EE has terrible customer service, so why are people surprised?

Do you really think Chris has ever actually cared about the community? No! Why are you guys all acting as if this is a new development? The only people who give one DAMN about the community is the community itself, even if you look here, the mods rarely post, the admins have pretty much all gone inactive, and it's a graveyard. EE is a graveyard as well, it's been going downhill for the past few years. It's not some big damn conspiracy that Julian doesn't care, it's all been about the money for the past few years.
Honestly, if you're going to complain so much about it, why don't you try to do something about it? Or quit? We've had plenty of decent people leave EE, that's probably why it sucks so much.

The mods don't anser to everyone because it's just impossible, that problem I already got with ~20 players online at once.
Everyone asked me something and with developing work combined would I need some1 more to anser them all.

And EE with 800 players online at once...
I think the mods just gave up to try helping or only prefer guys with big spender.
