Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hi again. *people lauging at him, like he was a clown*
A few days ago, I've read Wezza's post about that the edit-key function shouldn't be added "if everybody edits wanted everyone to edit a world".
So I am asking the following question: What happens if MrShoe removes the edit-key function?
My guesses are that it could reduce the chances of collaborating with people when making worlds (unless the /giveedit command is still in function), but it could prevent locked worlds from trolls and people asking for the worlds' code, further securing them.
But I need your opinion about this issue. I've just asked the guys at Armor Games, and Wezza.
Also I've been thinking about emailing MrShoe just to ask him to remove the code function (as a test).
OK guys, leaving you now. Good luck! -HF *people celebrating because he's gone*
If Wezza already posted about this, why aren't you posting this as a reply to his post? Why make a new topic?
@Chimi I'm asking for public opinion. I posted this because I just wanted to address it and to ask the community about this. Already replied Wezza (and also messaged him).

Okay, so you mean remove the edit CODE but keep the /giveedit command? I think that might be an okay idea, except it would be tricky to give a group of people editting privs.
Everybody Edits wouldn't be Everybody Edits without the code. Nay.

So basically, you want the world owner to always be in the room in order for people they're working with do to anything? The world owner can set a code if they want so that other people joining the map who are tod said code are able to edit without the world onwer actually being there.
Obligatory piece of text placed here forcing you to load an extra 100 bytes of data per post I make.

Yes, I didn't think of that.
Keep the code and the command, they work in different situations
It would require that either a bot or the owner be active at all times to give new people or rejoining people edit rights. A code is better for things like crews because the owner of the level doesn't have to be on for everyone to be able to edit.

Exactly, IF you know how to handle a room code, then it is one of the most helpful tools in ee.

You're making me cringe.
Anyway, this will never happen. If it does, they'll have to rename the game to "Everybody".
People "trolling" is the least of Shoe's concerns.

with your idea, that's what will happen:
before: gimme code plx
after: gimme edit plx
no changes.

@RedHat Just kick the asker.
What if even the /giveedit is removed?
Then there's no point of the game, foundation and teamwork gone.
What if even the /giveedit is removed?
Then the game would be called "Nobody Else Edits".

Yet we can have the open worlds. The removal of the code fuction and the /giveedit would be solely limited to locked worlds.
4/10 - You just revealed yourself as a troll with this topic.
Hopefully people will ignore these topics, it's just meant for rustling your jimmies, and wasting everyone's time.
I don't think there is any legitimate honesty within the opinionated ideas coming from OP.
The ideas itself surpasses the levels of stupidity I've even seen from butthurt raging noobs.
Either OP is a troll, or has some sort of grudge.
Regardless, I don't think it'd be good for anyone to take his ideas literally, anymore.

My hand was shacking because I wanted to press quote but my hand wanted to press report. Finally managed to press the right button.
If the code function gets removed, then it won't make a difference with /giveedit, only make it harder. If both are removed, then Crews page on the forum can simply be removed. I sort of agree with Atilla now, you seem to be trolling. If not, I don't know what possibly you want to achieve when everyone had already proven to you, you have a 0% chance of stopping trolls.

Noooo this idea suckss!!!
What did you think?! You can't change the game, deal with it

That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. People need to be able to collaborate. It's called everybody edits, by removing that part of the game, your destroying it.
Fu I wanted to write this.

Ha.
HF, I suggest taking a few days to reconsider anything before posting it.
