Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I messaged Mr. Shoe's company, Cape Copenhagen. Today, I was surprised to receive this e-mail: http://i.imgur.com/wYWmlXx.png

I'm glad that they've finally started doing something after about half a year of nothing. Atilla did say a Chris and RPG have been recently seen.
I'm just so glad EE isn't dieing. It's ridiculous how much content EE still needs, like slippery ice blocks, sloped blocks, you get the point.
Ehh, we've needed those sorts of blocks (not just the ones you're talking about) for awhile. There really wasn't enough time to mess with the physics of EE during weekly updates so most of the updates were just ddecorational blocks and new smileys
Game's back.
And this forum too

Please, let's stay on-topic.
The game was probably down because some moderators were testing.
Why would they test the public version? They can just test on another instance of EE or something. I'm not quite sure how it works but I'm pretty sure they don't have to test like that.

Yeah, they can just use a flash editor / compiler like Trillix, which allows for testing within the program. Not sure about serverside though.

Disregarding the problem that's already been resolved, and moving on...
When do you guys think we can start to expect to see these new updates? Do you think they'll be necessarily large as a make-up?
The downtime was likely caused by the new-years, private clusters like Everybody Edits were probably reset.
It wasn't testing, because the game has private servers accessible through their LAN network.

I find the title of this topic misleading, that email doesn't say anything about LOTS of updates, and it doesn't say that they're updating SOON. It does say they're preparing to update, which implies updating soon, but still, how long does it actually take to prepare? And they might be really lazy.
Also, the fact that they say that they have neglected Everybody Edits for a bit implies that they have only just started to try and update again, so they haven't necessarily been making something massive in the past year. Still, I'd be really **** off if it was just some new graphics (Blocks and a smiley). In fact, I would be happy if they managed to reduce lag, it's just that I'm bored of new graphics now, they need to do something better with this game.
If you think about it, this game is a good concept and has potential, but they need to do more to keep it alive.

Pretty much, yeah. There's not much else to do.

It's not nice that we have to wait for an update for EE to be fun. I think us making more levels should be the light at the end of the tunnel.

True, however, I think what most of us here are looking for is some sort of communication with the developers so that we know they've still got our back in the tough times.

Ok, ok.
Some of you say that we need to add players.
How we do that?
Too donate money for an Google Adsense ADS?
It seams that mod are not doing anything.
MrShue transformed EE into a money farm but is not doing noting too increase production.

I also hope they'll release a reliable update.
Here's some suggestions, maybe...
-Beta Emblem next to your name (Similar to BC, but a gold star)
-Transfer of potion commands to room owner commands
Its good if the things like: /kick [player] [reason],/loadlevel,etc. be in modify level.
