Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Movement Against the Influence of Minecraft on EE (MAIM)

My friends, The EEapocalypse is upon us, as our enemies from the land of Minecraft slowly invade our glorious kingdom of EE. Everywhere you look there are markers of our enemies, signs they are slowly but surely destroying us. Box minis have turned into parkour, smiley art has changed into creeper art, and trolls have been turned into griefers. My friends, our civilization as we know it is being destroyed and re-written by the hands of naive children. Do not let the Minecraft get to you, they seek only to deceive you, and teach you lies! The way of Minecraft is the way of a phantom! We must stop these idolators before it is to late, before they corrupt and destroy what little bit remains of the old ways!
-
How can you help? If you see the enemy politely inform them that what they are doing is wrong. If you see creeper art erase it. If you see a level named 'parkour', inform the owner they need to change the title. If you see someone call a 'troll' a 'griefer' inform them that there is no such thing as a griefer. If we give into the pressures of foreign powers, how can we still call this game EE? My friends, we must work together to destroy this threat which plagues EE once and for all! Who's with me!

Re: Movement Against the Influence of Minecraft on EE (MAIM)

Then you must stop me, as I play Minecraft on a Pixelmon Server that I fully support. I support it because I made friends there that are close to me, like how I have some close friends here on EE. Do what you want to me, but I don't follow the ways of Minecraft. I just play Pixelmon as if it is Pokemon, I still follow the old ways of EE but with some Minecraft ways in it. I don't speak in the native tongue of Minecraft on EE, I only speak that tongue on Minecraft. I am only visiting and reviving this game to help it going, and because I'm bored with Pixelmon a bit and because my laptop is being looked at. Once I get my laptop back I will devote more time to Pixelmon and less to EE, but I will still play like every other day or 2 days a week.

Minecraft is for Minecraft, EE is for EE. As long as you're not mixing the two, I have no qualms.

There is such a thing as Minecrap for mac, but I have no interest in playing it.

I would like to sign this... I have no issues with minecraft, I have an issue with 7-11 year old's bringing Minecraft into EE... It makes me sad... They are going to take all of our rights, and steel all of our hairless cats... We must not let this happen. SAVE THE HAIRLESS CATS!

I would run over a hairless cat with my car if I saw one, because it's naked and it's miserable and won't get its hair back. It basically looks like rat, but the rat has no hair on it....I don't care who the owner is....the owner should be put in jail for owning something that ugly.....

I dont like minecraft so much, my school is dominated by minecraft, i facepalm when i played minecraft first time, cannot be multiplayer, no good items. I dont care so much for minecraft worlds, i like making some games related minecraft, but i dont turn ee as minecraft.

Re: Movement Against the Influence of Minecraft on EE (MAIM)

I support this. I dislike it when people think that all blocky games are inspired by/a copy of Minecraft, as it is only blocky to bring simplicity to level creation. Yes, I know that I did make a Minecraft resource pack with Everybody Edits-inspired textures, but that's just because lots of textures in Everybody Edits coincidentally (excluding the colored windows, and probably a few other blocks) resemble those in Minecraft, and also due to my obsession over Everybody Edits.

I am deeply offended by your statement about "7-11 year old's." I enjoy playing Minecraft, but not all of us are like that. Not all of us are that obsessed over Minecraft. You shouldn't give such negative stereotypes to us children.

Not all blocky things are Minecraft, but not all parkourish things are Minecraft either. I'm pretty sure parkour is an irl thing, and nothing to do with Minecraft.

That's what I thought too, but Master1 informed me that there are often jumping courses in Minecraft called parkour, and considering all the other minecraft references that have been popping up, it wouldn't surprise me if they were somehow related.

There are jumping courses in Minecraft called parkour and there are jumping courses in EE called parkour, and both come from the activity in real life called parkour, I believe.

The only parkour level I think is rightly named is Bohs canabalt parkour. Other than that, all those other parkour levels are just faux, fashioned my naive children who don't even know what parkour is.

The minecraft one comes from real life, while the EE one comes from minecraft. From 2010, to I'd say midway 2013, nobody ever referred to it as parkour on EE. It's those nubs who came over from minecraft who started this ridiculous trend. It needs to be stopped.

It seems that you do not know what parkour is either. Parkour is real life, jumping across buildings and stuff. Stairs to code has absolutely nothing to do with parkour, at all.
