Beast smiley. The brown one with the teeth. It doesn't fit at all. There's so much shading when before it's always been very simple shading.

This reminds me of something I heard about the other day: someone sue'd an airport because they had a Christmas tree.

Can we just not make everything a religion is bad debate? It was an innocent smiley. Nobody forced you to buy it, its not even advocating Christianity.

Its just there.

I know the meaning of Christmas is to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, but the context of what Christmas means has been greatly changed by the capitalist system. I would argue that one could say Christmas is just a time for giving and to appreciate your family, regardless of religion. I am atheist, but my mom and Grandma are catholic (my grandma moreso than than my mom), and even on Christmas we don't follow any Christian traditions, we don't pray to god or anything like that. So suing an airport because they had a Christmas tree is dumb, because even though Christmas started as a Christian holiday, the meaning and context of it has changed along with American culture.

However, bishops are Catholic:

One who has been ordained deacon, priest, and then bishop is understood to hold the fullness of the (ministerial) priesthood, given responsibility by Christ to govern, teach and sanctify the Body of Christ, members of the Faithful. Priests, deacons and lay ministers cooperate and assist their bishop(s) in shepherding a flock.

Therefore the bishop smiley outright represents Catholicism no matter how you look at it. I hate the smiley because I'm atheist, and I think religion is a waste of time. I don't want to mix EE and religion, because I'd loathe to see levels where people are worshiping god. (I don't like the Bishop Jungle Potted Plant Society either.) I never have and never will have the bishop smiley.

This is the last post I'll make cause it's getting off topic. Actually, I don't like religion, main reason being I find it absurd to worship some omnipotent being who supposedly lives in the sky. And so, I actually don't have to respect that. Of course, I wouldn't be that aggressive on the forums, because I would most likely get a ban, but the fact is I don't feel that I should have to respect religion. Just because someone believes in something, doesn't make it right. I could believe the sky is green, but that doesn't make it green. I could say grass is orange, but that doesn't make it orange. I won't be mean to you as a person, but I most certainly don't feel inclined to accept or respect your religious ideals.

One more post, because I would be negligent not to respond...

I'm definitely not saying you should accept others beliefs. What kind of person would you be if you didn't think things through for yourself? Im saying that you have to realize that other people are PEOPLE. And that in itself deserves respect, and in turn, that means you should probably keep your mouth shut and not blatantly attack their beliefs for the very fact that they are people and don't deserve that. Im not saying that you shouldn't question them. If they cant answer questions then the fault is on them. But don't automatically dismiss ANYBODY. Its rude and demeaning to thinkt hat you are that much above them. Everybody deserves a level of respect. Remember, there is always someone smarter than you. We start to fall when we begin to think we know better than a fellow human being. We may believe they are misguided, as you clearly do, but that doesn't mean we can attack them and laugh in the face of their beliefs...If you don't accept OR respect this, I can understand.

I hate the bishop smiley because I am atheist. I don't like EE being mixed with religion. (I never really cared about God mode, because a god in my eyes can be any immortal being)(And I never cared about the angel/devil smiley because outside of the religious context they can still just be fictional characters.

I don't think EE is being mixed with religion. I'm not a big fan of religion either but it's not like the smiley encourages Catholicism. It's just a character. Nobody complains about the pirate smiley for being an outlaw.
As for the smiley I hate, the skull smiley. I'm also starting to hate the dark wizard because it's overused.

Why are you people talking about religion on a thread that literally has nothing to do with that? In case you don't remember, the Bishop smiley was created alongside the protection potion, just as some sort of representation for things being "invincible". Does wearing a hat like that automatically make you a part of that religion?

You're probably going to try and relate the "Ghost" smiley to the Holy Ghost, next, right?

But back on topic, I don't have a whole ton of least favorite smileys. If I had to choose one, it'd probably be the Mad Scientist. I'm not really sure WHAT exactly I don't like about it, but maybe it's the design? Again, not too sure. It's just not all that great for me.

I don't like it (Not hating.) that the appeares to be sad.
