Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

I want to see the end result of the world, it doesn't matter what people do, it matters what the end result is

I thought of a cool idea for an experiment, but I really can't do it myself, and it would take a few people to have it be successful.
The experiment is leaving an open world open for a total of 7 days, and see what happens, but the problem is:
I have horrible internet, and even if I had good internet, I could easily lose connection.
This is why if we have 4 people in the open world at the same time, then first of all, more people would see it and join, second of all, if one person looses connection or needs to take a break because of they don't want a massive power bill, then its not a huge problem if someone looses connection
If this idea interests the community enough, and we cooperate well, then this could be a cool thing
I am willing to organize the project, but that is all I can really do
PM me if you can help, we are going to need quite a few people

I have decided to mess around with the world image file, and you can insert your own backrounds into the world. failing to rename the image 'world' will cause an error to pop up, and just give you this weird white backround that works just fine. If you use and image size bigger than the default one, it just uses the upper left corner of the image, and placing a block and deleting it will revert the block back to normal, and finally, you can decorate the edge with your own custom edge things, and they count as blocks, and when you delete them, the revert back to normal when placed. interesting

#6 Bots and Programming » Bot Idea, Help Maybe? (flood bot) » 2016-09-14 20:34:50

I have a somewhat good Idea for a bot, but I have no skill in C#.
My Idea is called flood bot, and it is a pretty simple Idea.
You have a 100x400 map where you can climb all the way from the bottom to the top, maybe with a small waiting bit at the bottom thats like 100x10 wide.
as the game progresses, lava slowly replaces empty blocks, all the way up to the top of the world, and the players who get to the top win.
It would be pretty cool if someone decided to make this bot, and while if someone does, I would atleast like credit for the idea, and if you are kind enough, maybe a copy of the bot?
Thanks!

It would be a cool new decoration block I guess, maybe they should add a full food decor pack

#8 Re: Game Suggestions » Pickpocketers' Blocks » 2016-09-14 20:06:39

I dont think this would be a good idea, it would just be too complex and the only reason people would use it, is because its new, just like what happend with orange gates

Zombies have been mostly untouched since the creation of the zombie effect, and I think doing a zombie revamp would be a good idea. The two things that are really important to me are: A way to kill the zombies, and a way to count how many PvP kills you have, so then you can make gates for thoughs or somthing like that

#10 Game Suggestions » Engines, and Master Save points » 2016-09-07 01:37:43

EE has no real system for enemies, and as the game is progressing forward, and players are becoming more and more creative, players need new features to let the innovative side of the game grow.
Engine blocks would be a good solution to
a) add enemies to the game
b) have moving platforms that don't require an afk player.
How I would envision a engine block is a block that the placer of the block can control how it moves, and add blocks attached to it so it has spikes or is moving pixel art.

Another Idea is Master Save Points. This would be like a block that saves all details of the plays current state (switches pressed, Current Effects, etc.) and stores that until the rejoin.
I know this is far out, and doesn't seem like it would be useful, but it is.
People are making full on new games in EE, with progress, and whenever you leave: your progress is out the window. This is why you can use master save points as a way of saving that progress.

#11 Game Suggestions » Global Switches and co-op » 2016-03-30 03:35:26

There are a few things that I think would be a good addition to the game
Global switches, and co-op team selecters. How global switches would work how they sound: there switches that affect eveyone, and co-op selceters woul be a block where you trigger, and the it sends a team invite to someone in the game. this would set up co-op keys to a certain id, along with co-op switches and portals. The reason these would both be useful is co-op puzzels, and singular person classes. Say I was creating a gamemode with 1 class that was a zombie with all buffs, and there is only suposed to be one. instead of making a guest switch I could just use universal switches so that when it is buffing the zombie.

#12 Game Suggestions » Pushable and gravity affected blocks. » 2015-11-27 00:06:03

The reason why this would be useful is that players could create puzzles, and new types of game modes like capture the flag. this would also allow timers with out having to make accounts to sit in your world to activate a key every 20 seconds or so. There blocks would be affected by gravity, like if they were on a gravity arrow, it would push them in that direction. there could be different varieties so that is can only be pushed by people of one team color, or only fall through certain blocks like block gates. these block could also be used for activating keys. This would be great fun for mini games like capture the flag, like when one key gets activated by a block, one team falls in a bunch of spikes and the game resets.
