Smooth Editing

When I build in my worlds, I usually have this stiff laggy editing, but somtimes, there's some really smooth editing, if you know what I mean, is there a way to get it when you want?

If you have alot of tabs running, your computer will lag, and be rough in EE.
If you have less tabs running, your computer will not lag, and be smooth in EE.
Sometimes lag kinda builds up in a computer, and then its best just to reboot it.

It really depends on the server speed and your ram. Mostly the server speed.
