The hat got taller

Has anyone noticed that the hat changed on the original Big Spender? It also looks more cleaner, and this is also aside from the fake. The fake on was just a flipped sprite of the original.

Yep, I noticed it too. Problably to make an even bigger difference between the fake spenders.

It's all be because of the stupid diamond. Fake spenders for $100... I just can't get over that.

What do you mean for a 100$? I thought the diamond itself was just 50$? Still a rip-off though. I like the hat taller though because I always thought it was too flat. The new hat also looks a lot more clean and black.

The Big Smiley allows a player to show that they have something that others don't.
The Diamond brick allows levels containing them to get at the top of the list.

Chris can get away with both. Why? Because toy manufactures have been getting away with similar techniques for ages.

The fake smiley feels more washed out. The original/old and shorter hat smiley also had more pure color. Chris must have did this to make a bit more of a difference.

Solution to the "Fake big spender" Problem is...Make it like a crown ( When someone else takes it , you loose it )
