Is the Beta "furious" smiley thrilled or furious?

At first glance it looks furious, but upon further inspection it appears to be thrilled. If you look closely at the mouth, you can see tha it's grinning, yet it still seems angry. This is why when people use it I'm never sure if they're angry or not.

Thoughts?

I think it's thrilled, that's what I normally use it as. But so many people say it's furious...

If it was supposed to be 'thrilled' then why did they make the 1xd1 smiley?

I use it for fury/annoyance, for laughing I use the ^^ smiley

He isn't smiling, that's what I'm sure about. And who would grin but still be angry, that's a weird emotion.
