I just paid for another year of hosting on this current server, and hopefully over the next few weeks I'll be able to go through and delete a ton of unused forums on Forumify's server to speed the whole site up a lot! Keeping the site running is pretty expensive so every little bit helps!

Yes, that's correct. But using that link to sign up for an account and then playing on that account a lot helps the forums and the game.

I get a share whenever an account which has signed up using my link gets gems, by any means. You'd need to make a new account using that link if you've already got an account unfortunately though.

So you get a cut from gem sales through any account that signs up through that link? Cool.

If you actually use the account a lot, you'll be helping me more than you can imagine!

How does this work? After a certain amount of referred accounts log a certain amount of playtime, you get a payment?

Also, will referrals ever become publicly available, even if payment is only through gems? Like, say if anyone could have their own referral link, they could receive Gems as payment. Then again, that might be exploitable.

So let me guess, that little announcement pops up on every single forumify page, advertising EE. People go there, register, and you get money. Is that how this works?

No.   There's no invites from users.   The only thing that happened is that the forums partnered with EE.

And it's not just signups - I get nothing unless you purchase gems or do a survey or whatever to earn a gem. If you're trying to make your own referral link, it will not work. Like I said, Everybody Edits has partnered with the forums. I don't get gems ingame for it, I'm getting actual cash to help keep the Forumify server running.

^ Yea, I saw this one forum for bots and it had like 99999 topics in one thing. Yes, it was like 8 spam bots.
