Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Admins / mods should now give more comprehensive warnings and the forum will allow you to view your warnings.
Mods: look for Warn Report at the bottom of a post. It's in grey.
Warning types and warning levels can then be viewed by forum users by going to warnings.php in your profile.
Also warnings now expire after a set period of time to be defined by the moderator depending on the severity of the infraction.
EDIT: I have added warning types to make it easier to issue warnings. There is also a custom warning section allowing moderators to issue custom warnings if an offence is not listed.

Now we don't have to ask mods for a warning count all the time. Though I can't find a link to the warning page, I just found it by going to warnings.php. But I'm not sure if everyone has been given a clean slate, or I've just gone to the wrong address.

It's basically a clean slate for everyone. An amnesty if you will.
It's a neat plugin and all, but it's not like this forum will ever replace the original. So, kind of useless.

If cyclone does decide that he is too lazy or whatever to run his forum then it could be of use.

Yes, it has moderator comments and your current amount of warnings should/might be displayable.
Private Messages are sent to the user when the warning is issued.

Is that statement still valid for me?

On these forums, yes. Warnings are issued if there is unwanted continuous remarks. [see Rules 2b & 2d]

Percentage warning may be better
This is a false statement.

I agree with Creature. If everything but one thing is 1 point, what's the point in a new warning system other than setting permabans to 11 warnings? A warning could even be given a range of percentage that the moderator can decide between depending on how bad it is.

Finally you agreed one of my ideas. You saw flaming is too much bad than spam.

Warnings are not all 1 point.

Warnings are not all 1 point.
Some warnings are different points, but percentage helps more.

Let me enlighten you

It'd be more helpful to increase the amount of points per warning, and also increase points per punishment, than to have way too many numbers. What is essentially 100 levels of warning severity makes it very hard to pinpoint exactly how many points each warning deserves.

Flaming=3 points
Spamming=1 Point
Other warnings=1 point
4 points= 6 hour ban
6 points=1 day ban
10 points=1 week ban
12 points=1 month ban
16 points=Permanent ban
