Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

What I'd do is go to CenterofPrizes, and do surveys/w.e until you have enough money, and cash it out. I haven't tried it, but people have, and somebody I know has withdrew over $10.00, or in this case
I haven't even heard of POUNDS before.

It doesnt matter, payapal cannot take dollars from pounds, so the take what it is worth in pounds.
I don't know whether the fact that there are people who don't know what pounds are or the fact that people think there is some kind of dual currency system in your bank account shocks me most. O_O
But yeah... your bank will debit the correct amount of pounds even if the charge is in foreign currency.
@Toby: I've never heard of pounds before. I've always grown up with cash.

Pounds is a nickname for the british sterling which is our currency
hey would the price be half so would it be 10 dollars or 5 pounds or 10 dollers or 10 pounds
Rougly the pound is 75% of the dollar, so 10 dollars would be about 7 pounds.
Because British people are????? . XD
