New and Improved Forums!

Dear community,

History teaches us that what doesn’t change gets left behind. To stay fresh and competitive in an ever-changing landscape we must continuously grow and adapt to overcome new challenges and face new challengers. This is even more critical in the modern digital era, which ruthlessly promotes winners and discards losers in a hyper-accelerated Darwinian game for survival.

This is why today’s forum refresh introduces over a dozen updates designed to re-energise the user experience. Our talented forum developers have worked tirelessly since early 2019 to implement UI and UX improvements which will:

1. Increase the efficiency of browsing and posting

2. Streamline access to new user-submitted content

3. Improve accessibility for left-handed users

4. Highlight and promote user content over and above user metadata such as identity and post count

We recognise that not all change is positive, and that change for the sake of change is wasteful and unproductive. While these updates may take a few moments to get used to, we’re confident that our thoughtful, data-driven approach to revamping the site will exceed expectations while also paving the way for even bigger changes up ahead.

It took me a good minute to find the woot button.
I love this improvement.

Edit I pressed the preview button instead of submit. Darn it.
