so... what's up?

since we haven't heard about anything regarding the game in years and likely will continue not to, i'm curious..

does anyone still really "actively" use these forums in 2024? anyone who doesn't see these posts from the discord #forums channel?

Ehmn. I don't know . I won't be caring to hear the non-reluctant responses from current moderators . If a server is locked why is there such a necessity to put a bot to lock up the EE 3rd Party server ? The EE! is still closed to chat . Only some clues that I am assuming are : some developers are emptied from their roles in this progress . The current CEO of the game is trying to fund this important project . Idc if another mods of the game will be released through summer or next year .

I am not getting my hopes up with EE! anymore. The radio silence doesn't make me feel that the game is in a good state. I still hope that they'll drop an announcement on the discord one day, but the chances are getting slimmer everyday.

This was half a year ago, but you might be interested in this thread where I checked in with people.

I'm here, and I check it regularly. Much more than Discord at this point, because it's much nicer to go on a quiet forum themed around EE than be blasted with fancy graphics, notifications, and self-promotion. And the possibility that a server may be deleted at any time...

Development started in 2021 February. Our Silence was posted in 2023 February, where it was also stated that it "may be months or even years".

It is hard to remain hopeful in near-silence, with little insight about what is currently being done. But I got myself a new supply of hopium. A year ago, we learned that more than 60% of all assets were finished, and programming was close to being finished. The only other part mentioned was audio. If we give them leeway, we could say this is the halfway point, at two years of development. If development exceeds four years at February 2025, I will have a Moderate Amount of Concern. For me, Bimps, Different55, and some others to play, it must be before the prophecy is fulfilled at year 6.

You don't know that for whole 5 years the third party server of EE is literally locked . Could somebody unlock the server ? I doubt about it for ages.

I mean, I know the official one is locked. But I don't know about any other servers that are locked.
