Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

In the fall of 2023, Josh Wheaton, a college student and Everybody Edits player, enrolls in a game design class taught by Professor Jeffrey Radisson. Radisson demands his students sign a declaration that "Everybody Edits is dead" to pass. Josh is the only student who refuses. Radisson requires Josh to debate the topic with him but agrees to let his other students decide the winner.
In the first two debates, Radisson has counter-arguments for all of Josh's points. Josh's girlfriend Kara demands Josh either sign the statement or drop Radisson's class because standing up to Radisson will jeopardize their academic future. When Josh refuses, Kara breaks up with him.
In the final debate, Josh halts his line of debate to ask Radisson: "Why do you hate Everybody Edits?" Radisson explodes in rage, confirming he hates Everybody Edits! for not releasing before his mother's death. Josh asks Radisson how he can hate a game that does not exist. Martin, a Chinese student whose father forbids him from talking about Everybody Edits to avoid jeopardizing his brother's chance at overseas study, stands up and says, "Everybody Edits is not dead." Most of the class follows Martin's lead, and Radisson leaves the room in defeat.
Radisson dates Mina, whom he belittles in front of his fellow colleagues for playing Everybody Edits.
Radisson reads a letter from his late mother, and is moved to reconcile with Mina. On his way to find her, Radisson is struck by a car and fatally injured. An Everybody Edits player waiting at the intersection tends to Radisson, and shows him a nostalgic Everybody Edits video as he dies.
Josh invites Martin to a boss world. Before the first round, the boss links a video clip of Chris Benjaminsen congratulating Josh on standing up to Radisson and encourages the players to message "Everybody Edits Is Not Dead" to others. The boss renames the world "EE Is Not Dead", dedicating it to Josh. ("Everybody Edits Is Not Dead" was too long.)
