If you're expecting a big world, don't get too excited. There's just a little more dirt and grass, plus some more arrows and a platform which I assume is for the camera smiley.

I made a YouTube playlist of 190 EE videos from 2010, sorted by date uploaded (warning: contains crude drawings and probably bad words). It even includes the lesser-known, first official EE video (that I know of), now on YouTube!

Well, now my channel's gone.

YouTube terminated my channel for violating community guidelines. They did not clarify which guidelines I broke, so I sent an email asking which specific guideline I broke. I also clarified my channel's purpose since it probably looks cryptic and scary to YouTube. Now I have this message:

Your channel won’t be put back on YouTube

We've taken a careful look at your channel again, and confirmed that it violates our Community Guidelines policy. We recognize it’s disappointing news, but our goal is to keep the YouTube community safe and supported.

Careful look? So careful, that they couldn't give any more details! I have a few ideas why this might have happened. Probably a mix of them:

• one of my super secret alt channels that got banned

• the EE minimap timelapse briefly having an antisemitic message visible on-screen

• a playlist having the age-restricted video "sperms life" by FiztheAncient

• I made too many playlists and YouTube got uncomfortable

Good thing I didn't do much with it. The Wayback Machine might not save YouTube videos themselves, but you can just watch them where I found them:

Gameplay Video - likely the oldest official EE video, found on old PlayerIO site. I noted "At the very earliest this trailer is from 0.7.5, where blue coins were added (2010-07-16)."
timelapse4.mov - a minimap timelapse by Pandafox from April 2010, on Benjaminsen's EE Reddit post (links may have offensive words or drawings)

The playlists themselves are probably lost forever, but can tediously be recreated. I just used searches like this:

"Everybody Edits" after:2010-03-01 before:2010-05-01

The relevant videos appear at the top, then it gets weirder from there. YouTube automatically checks metadata like description and transcript, so you might find videos where Everybody Edits is just mentioned.

In my playlists I added a few extra videos with older gameplay that were uploaded much later, such as the 6 extra videos in my 2010 playlist. If you find any, please let me know. I will likely update this post or reply with my progress to gather as many old videos as I can.
