I think I should be glad that I saved a screenshot of my progress on "CTM 2", 12 hours before this happened. (Don't know why I still care about trying. )
But now I'm uncertain if EE will be revived after that hacking. Because it seems like no matter how secure the game is, it's always eventually going to get hacked again and again.

Can't wait to find out how it happened this time.
(Disappointed that I wasn't aware of it until now.)

How in the first place the hacker got access to such important data?

The staff roles are very separated, only the owner of EE and developers have access to that information as far as I understand
What is going on exactly? Is someone in the staff with access to the EE most important data involved in the hack?

Why should the community even trust to continue playing a game that keeps being hacked (I would be afraid to even create a new account)
I really want to hear what the staff have to say this time

Even if EE does come back on, we'd lose the diamonds, the big spender smiley, and other expensive stuff in the shop, (except if they already purchased those stuff before the hack happened.) Which doesn't matter too much, imo.

Even the worlds where various people placed diamonds, labels, and other stuff they shouldn't have won't be saved whenever EE goes back up again.

you'd think for a game that is going to get shut down in the (supposedly near) future, they'd make items free for everyone instead of milking a dead cow until its last drop.

But nope, we all know that it won't happen for obvious reasons, many of which that would be easy to interpret.
But, if they did make every item free, then they'll make less profit that way. I don't see what the point is of doing that by making them free.
Besides, rarely anyone buys them nowadays, either because of the breach, or for other reasons.

The argument will be, "We need to make profit in order to keep the game up and running!" - except for the fact that John has been paying for the servers out of his own pocket for the past several months. They wouldn't even have to pay Player.IO the heavily reduced monthly costs if they actually stuck to their promise and made "EEOffline" - hell, I made EEmulator in a couple of days spending maybe an hour or two on it at a time. It cost me nothing but time I would have otherwise spent jerking off. What's their excuse besides Cercul broke his arms and his laptop's arms? You'd think they'd find someone else to continue the project, but nope. It's actually quite amazing how they promise an entirely new game from scratch with all of these features when they can't deliver on a small little **** non-multiplayer project that a **** like me can do in a week.
