Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

appealing ban by smiley1

any reason i got banned for 6 hours? I see this message "banned for bypassing the filter" what does this even mean? don't tell me i got banned for 6 hours because of a single word? Cannot the mod here just mute me instead of arbitrarily banning me? This game doesn't even have much players

Re: appealing ban by smiley1

There's a swear word filter that turns any censored word into **** for those who have it enabled. Misspelling censored words so they pass the filter isn't allowed, though this probably means people could be banned for accidental typos. If you don't want that risk I suppose you could just avoid writing swear words in EE chat.

That said I do think there should definitely be more moderation options. Banning players from using their account because of specifically misusing chat seems like it could discourage players from playing. There's even an option for staff to manually remove chat access, so making this automatic could help a lot.

Why aren't temp mutes a thing?

EDIT: I guess players could still communicate using signs.

One bot to rule them all, one bot to find them. One bot to bring them all... and with this cliché blind them.

Re: appealing ban by smiley1

I think for that word specifically a ban is justified since it’s kinda a bit more than just a swear, but yeah mutes are definitely long overdue in EE/EEU.

No if they don't have edit, no

Either way, the temp mute was going to be implemented, i made a database entry for muted players and mute system was on the way. But then i got distracted by other things that needed to be developed and then i quit so //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/sad
