people were spamming ee is dead threads as early as 2012 so does it really count

Ok but this was the mrshoe vacation period, and even though EE has only gotten even more dead since then, imo it actually felt more dead back then because literally nothing was happening and there was nothing we could do about it. At least after nvd and other owners took over there were actually some updates to talk about, and there was SOME hope.
