[eeu] Keys not working

i know this is a hard bug to fix because of js problems and implementation of keyboards in js, but when using other languages (such as Russian), keys are not recognized, so i am not able to move until i switch the language

not being rude but there's a dedicated server for EEU (as it's official) and you can report bug there too. Unlike this forum, it actually get checked with no chance of being missed by the staff.

Could you give some background info about Russian keyboards and why they don't work? Personally I only have a UK keyboard so can't really test it.

Does a keyboard really matter? I think that it is just typing language you choose that matter.
I'm from Ukraine, and we have russian/ukrainian language in windows after installation, but then you go into Language settings and add english and use it to type english symbols.
So maybe if you go to language settings and add our language and try it out, how would it work for you, we will see the difference?
I really don't think that keyboard matters, I don't know how it works though

I'm from Ukraine, and we have russian/ukrainian language in windows after installation, but then you go into Language settings and add english and use it to type english symbols.
So maybe if you go to language settings and add our language and try it out, how would it work for you, we will see the difference?

Pressing English "a":

Pressing Russian "ф" which is at the same place as English "a":

i guess it's better to use .code of KeyboardEvent

For compatibility reasons we can't currently use just .code as it's not supported in enough browsers, but I guess for now we can try and detect whether your browser supports it and if it does then use it, and eventually we're planning on hosting different versions of the game for modern and legacy browsers.
