it's horrible to be able to jump without any delay whatsoever

We do already have a jump delay, it's just fairly short (although implemented differently to your suggestion because that's not how we write code for the EEU physics engine). We're planning on fixing some other small issues with input delay and if that doesn't solve the problem then trying increasing the jump delay.

I showed the code so you wouldn't need to look up ee source code and understand what's going on there
Mostly i wanted to show 0.75 and 0.15 jump delays

Well, just because we have new physics doesn't mean they can't be improved. You could just as well say new update, new physics. Of course you shouldn't arbitrarily update physics, but EEU is in such an early beta state that physics changes would break very few levels.
A few users have explained why they don't like the current physics, but you haven't given any reason for your case. Why do you think we should adapt to the exact physics we have now?

This is when we should not care about breaking every level in EEU in order to achieve physics improvements, later on, when the game open to all public, it will be harder to have the liberty of changes EEU have in this stage

I think in general we're pretty agreed that it should at least be a bit longer, I don't think we'll be going back to something like EE where it takes a good second or two before you jump a second time though.

0.2 seconds, and make space holding work better. I can't tell you how incredibly frustrating delayed jumping is. It makes challenges that should be simple worse than 60 consecutive hook jumps.
