You did indeed opt in day 1, but even though you did, you did so in the afternoon of Day 1 (2018-12-31 14:32:45), which puts you in Batch 5, after around 200 people had already opted in by that point. I've so far created accounts up to Batch 10, which the latest opt in is at 2019-01-01 23:23:33. There are now 1382 people total opted in, so we're looking at around 28 batches total.
As for when people will be invited, apologies that there have been further delays, but they are relatively short delays. Various issues have naturally cropped up in our testing that require attention, but we're still hoping to invite the first batch this week. Following that, it really depends how many game-breaking things occur during the first Beta Testing that we need to address before inviting more people, but we're still hoping to be able to invite at least one batch a day.
For the most part though, we're almost fully set up and ready to go.

yes and no erhm well to get accces you need beta which costs 75 gems those gems can be gotten by daily logign and campaigns for free but fi you opt in now you will be thelast one to rechive an invites and xeno sends invites in batches of 50 a day i belive and i believe there is already ~1350 opt ins

and it has to have special software that hardware accelerates the block drawing process and requires a microtransaction of $0.01 per block rendered on every single frame

It's all rofling great, but really. In original EE I have lags with 20+ online on one map, and eeu graphics are so smooth that it seems like my laptop will not handle

It currently runs fullscreen at 60fps on my cheapy laptop I got for taking notes at university (it could barely keep up with standing still and chatting in EE). It's got a quad core processor at 1.1GHz boosting to up to 2.5GHz (although the game is mostly singlethreaded at the moment), 4GB ram, and runs at 1080p.
We're also planning on making more optimisations as time goes on, so hopefully the game should be able to run on devices like fairly old phones, or cheaper or older laptops.

I just meant to say that my laptop was running at 1080p, and the game was running at max resolution. If you have a good enough monitor and computer, there's no reason you can't run it at 8k if you want
