EE is ALREADY dead

look me for example, when have I last played the game itself? I've been with the forums but not with the game. I believe many more are like me already. It's not safe to play, it's boring, it's inactive, it's dead.

So yeah, EE is Not dead

The community, forums and eeu came (or have to come) from ee. Yea forums are here but the community went from thousands of players each day to like 50 (before the hacks) and now it's like 15. Eeu has yet to come out so that's nothing either. All there's left is Forums and a small chunk of community who still plays. The only reason the forums are active now is because ee.com is down and 882 accounts have been compromised. If the hacking didn't happen the only forum activity is forum games and bytearray's weekly game dev vlog topic. Maybe 1 or 2 other things that would die out after 15-20 replies but that's it. Ee is also kinda dead because the small bit of players who play usually only join campaign worlds. I saw a screenshot of the lobby as it is now and it had 5 players online and 5 campaign worlds. Most people don't build worlds anymore because the game is dead and chances of people playing it are too small so it's not even really worth it.
