Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Ever Noticed Something Slightly Off with the Camera?

Have you ever noticed something's up with the camera? If you haven't, then look here.

Warning: This image may trigger you if you have OCD. Take caution!

It's been like this for nearly a decade. I know it isn't that big of a deal, and it's not likely going to be fixed, but I thought it was worth talking about it //forums.everybodyedits.com/img/smilies/neutral

You know this eagle ain't lying when he can smell things miles away from him, all thanks to his super powerful sense of smell. (Idc if this image doesn't fit, lol.)
Idk what my profile icon is supposed to be, lol. Activeness: Infrequent Β―\_(ΒΊ_o)_/Β―
Boring fact: Used to have a 709+ daystreak, but lost it due to my memory error...and then eventually lost my 263+ daystreak, also due to my memory error. (Was I sane at that time...?)
Fun fact: If you happen to see my username or Sticksam on Twitter/x or on other sites, that's actually a different person, NOT me. I never use Twitter/x. I just wanted to clear up the confusion a bit for those who are not aware of this, lol.
I honestly know little to nothing about them when I first saw those names on the internet. XD (Might have to give myself a bit of a different nickname at some point in the future.)

Pretty commonly known, I think.

It's a little annoying because sometimes I'd be able to have a block less dead space if it was done properly.

do you have the same reaction when you see that integers have a range of -2147483648 to 2147483647? really? this is designed so that if the player is aligned the view is literally 40 blocks wide and exactly.

I'm known as "haslo" in EE. Also, I refuse to play EEU.

screen is 640 pixels wide
640/16 = 40 blocks
you are able to see 40 blocks.
20 on the left of you
19 on the right of you
and 1 you are in.

so
imagine shifting the camera 0.5 blocks to the right (exactly in the middle of the smiley)
you would get this:
blue line - previous center location of the camera
cyan line - new center location of the camera
green arrows - corner blocks you would be able to see

that means that if you align the camera exactly in the middle, you would be able to see 1 extra block. So you would waste even more space!

As I said - sometimes I'd be able to have a block less dead space (when constantly moving, or protecting things from entering at high momentum). As often I'm viewing something from both sides, the extra 0.5 blocks doesnt hurt at all since, well, I need the black void between things to be on both sides.
