It always did before. You're just now noticing it because it takes a browser close + 24 hours to mark everything as "read".

cant you just fix the porbelm rather then revert or is this somethign unrelate dto your coding but related to thrid party's?

Closing topic should work much better, and now should be functional for mods who are not mods of the current forum they're browsing but they still own the topic.

Did you revert the read topics thing already? In Off-Topic there was a topic from Loganyoshi about waking up Anatoly, with 2 replies the exact same, one by you and one by someone else. The replies were the same. It couldn't have new messages as you locked it.

SO. I'm sure you're all aware EE v2.0 is finally on its way here in the "near future" after many iterations and attempts.

What better time to add a EE v1.0 feature to the forums than shortly before its death?

There's now a world tag to embed EE worlds in a fancy little infobox. It uses SirJosh's EE API, I'll let him explain more details but it's essentially just an img tag that gets enhanced with some extra world info once the page loads. Thanks to both him and Smitty for their huge parts in making this!
