What’s the point of staying alive at the end of the game? Sometimes you may need to sacrifice for your faction’s win. Unless your win condition is to survive till the end.

Did you see the previous game? I pretended as vanila townie, so if someone wants to prove that I’m fake vanila townie, a vanila townie must sacrifice.

Or maybe if you want to lower your suspicion as a mafia member, you may need your teammate to sacrifice.

Let's say you're the cop of a town, you haven't revealed your role yet, and that every other town power role is dead. The town is in a bad situation - there are four townies and three mafia members alive.
You need three people to reach a majority, and considering the circumstances, nolynching and mislynching lead to town losing the game. No mistakes allowed.
You, the cop, share all of the investigation results you've collected up until then, even if it guarantees that you'll get shot the following the night.
Sacrificing yourself so the town has a better shot of winning is not only viable, but the correct thing to do. Surviving until the end should be one of your goals as a townie, but it shouldn't be your primary one.

this i see is a good reason but only if youre sure the town can do something wiht what youve found if all your investigates were on dead people hten i dont see a reasnon to share it and if you mean wiht 4 tonwnies 3 townies and 1 cop and youve found only 2 townies and 2 dead poeple its also that 2 townies aren confirmed but this coudl be a very well situation of sacrefisning yorself to win providing the game is open and the town and mafia knows there is a town cop in game

how if there is mulltiply vanilla townies? rhere isnt just one single townie (no powerole town member)
