So this is how it works:
First we have an empty map withcno rooms, so I add a room. Wherever you move that hasn't been moved to before, you create a new customized room. If you try to overwrite an existing room, you lose. If you die, the next person's spoint point will be the last checkpoint. The only possible direction in a text adventure are North, Easgt, West, South, Northeast, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest, Up, Down, and Go... You can open secret exits in rooms. You can, however, create details based on existing details, or overwrite the room if no proper details are provided. Go!

There is an exit downwards.

There is an exit downwards.

There is a cool sword in the middle of the room.
The only exit is to the up.

This doesn't work. 'You can only go down' "Yeah let's go left then". To me it's even more confusing now.

Just ignore all exit lines and pretend they don't exist ok. 1. You can't like, completely remodify the room. In Text Adventures, left and right are not proper directions. Even a "forwards" direction is not declared. Just try to enter left or right in any text adventure and see the result - You wouldn't sctually go anywhere. In old IFs, "Do you have any particular direction in mind?" is the reply for trying to go left or right. That's why I'm using it. Amd a non-valid move doesn't count as creation of a new room.

This game makes no sense at all and seeing that in the OP all the rules was one sentence I can hardly even say that you yourself understand your rules.
