1 gem for chat access

I just want to know why does this even exist? There's no way this can actually prevent hacker or spammer or idk since they can do tutorial campaign. Spend at least 5 minutes and you're all done.

Wait, it's a thing now?

I assume it's to defend/protect against peoples trying to leak someone's information, but I'm not sure if it will actually prevent them.

No this is not a thing.

Growler's bot account has a faked ID, so the game assumes something is wrong so it disables chat (turning the name gray), and the shop image was faked.

You can easily get that from dailies. So basically just a "you need to wait for 1 week until you can chat" barrier.

Would you actually spend a week just for a gem that you can use to buy this thing? You could just do a tutorial campaign from tier 1 to tier 4(which give 1 gem) in less than 5 minutes?

I can confirm that the shop image was not faked, you can go ahead and get yourself an account like that and go to the shop. It's there. It doesn't let you to purchase the chat though, in the 2nd Growler's screenshot the "Verify now" button doesn't work.

Sorry, my mistake.

It looks like when it was originally removed it wasn't done properly, and some unused broken code was left in the client that just happened to be triggered by a small anti-spamming feature we added recently when your account had a faked user ID. We've now removed this and will be updating the client soon
