Neither should be allowed. If you're spoiling it so much that you need that many spoilers, just don't spoil it.

For large posts with many comments that should not be directly visible, I even would say it should stay allowed..

There should be a rule against more than 3 layers of irony.

Also you can just quote a post to see what's inside spoilers via bbcode

There's no reason to put images in spoilers, unless the image is somehow more of a spoiler than the previous spoiler, and if you're already viewing the previous spoiler, you probably don't care about more spoilers. Also, scrolling exists people, be aware.

The second option is handy for keeping graphics suggestion threads tidy and organised, and for pretty much any multiple suggestion thread. First one is just spam in most cases.

I don’t think you can write a rule specific enough to block all the annoying ways in which spoilers could be used. If anything, you’re just encouraging people to toe the line for lols.

The spam warnings cover straight up trolling, ‘Nub’ handles repeat annoyances, and there’s always custom warnings for stuff not caught by the others.

Creating this rule might pave the way for other kinda petty rules like “don’t quote the OP” and “long quote chains not allowed”.

Do not be annoying.
Don't repeatedly break the rules.

The first time should be ignored, if you have been warned before you definitely should be warned.
