Repeat filter in chat can be bypassed

For example, if you type 00000€00000€00000 in chat, it will appear as 000000000000000. The character € (alt+0128) is unsupported, but the repeat filter is applied before the encoding to the server.

thye just need to suport € in chat as it is used more then $ which IS suported

The repeat filter is bad anyway. I should be able to say vvvvvv without needing to say vvvvv[alt0157]v or vvvvw.

if this modification was made in EE then people could use another character instead to bypass that filter. then people could talk about how black is #000ą000, not #00000

The repeat filter is bad anyway. I should be able to say vvvvvv without needing to say vvvvv[alt0157]v or vvvvw.

Using an unsupported character is better than using a blank control character (alt+0129/0141/0143/0144/0157 from CP1252, any character from U+0080 to U+009F, for reference EE chat only supports U+0000 to U+00FF) because the resulting string is a true repeat of more than 5, and not a slightly modified version that might as well not work as a copypasted code or something.
