I'd use light green, red, blue, purple, orange, yellow (no cyan because "light" blue), but it's really sad that not all colors are supported...

Maybe restrict theme creation?

tbh i think  themes shoudl have 1 main color so eithe rblack or white and im more fan of black since its a color most used in EE (base bg of ee at none is black in worlds for exmaple) makes makign cool signatures worth and makes the use of the [color] bbc code worth[/color]

That will ruin the magic of themes.

You've known for a very long time about all color schemes for the different themes we have, and therefore, should already know the safe colors you can use that look good in every default theme. I'm surprised that you don't.

There are plenty of colors that work cross-theme. My username color, for example. We didn't even start using different username colors for different themes until the EE staff started splintering into 50 different teams. You just have to pick carefully. Something that isn't too bright and isn't too dark shows up reasonably well whatever the theme.

maby update the prievieuw of either posts and signatures to allow us to chnage theme to white or dark to see if the color is reasonable

ill post which numbers are getting tough to read and im using a dark theme:
A3 (possible 2 too but meh)
I14 is like invis almost
J14 same
K14 same
some pthers like H13-14 I-M 13 L/M14 and the A2 are still readable but quire dark 15's adn 16's are darker then my thme so are fin to read

I'm using the carbon one and A3 and K14 are practically invisible unless you look for it. If you put text like that in your signature I wouldn't be able to notice it untill I know it's there. I14 and J14 are hard to see and the rest is fine

Do not use Flax. It's ugly.

I went trough all themes. I decided to use Radon now (I had Coal; green is not used by staff team yet )

Okay, back to topic. Looking trough those colors on different themes, I decided that following colors are visible on all of them:

Carbon, Coal, Radon: Background: DARK GRAY: #1e1e1e
Flax White, Snow: Dark White (not completely white)
Flax doesn't fit.
Nostalgia: Super Black

Verdict: I have a great Signature.
