Umm.. no. I think that's a completely unfair judgement of him. Just because Josh isn't prepared to leave the staff team over Xeno's actions doesn't mean he's anything like him. He even said that he doesn't 100% agree with what Xeno did but that he has no personal problems with him and can still work with him. Josh is passionate about this game and wants to work on it.

I think it's a terrible idea to sell this game off to a company. The only thing that's kept this game alive is people's passion for it. Do you really want it to be sold on to a company that is only motivated by profit?

Everybody Edits seems to never go well when people treat it like a business, so something needs to be done. Drama sneaks its way into the game's management somehow. I've seen it all since 2012.

This game has always been about editing things, and having other people around to see what creative things you've done. But what if we took it a step further? Let's decentralize it and make it open-source.

We won't need to have a small limited group decide what happens to the game, so we won't have stupid drama over who does what behind the scenes. If we can agree to guidelines for what should and shouldn't be in the game, we can let the users decide what is best for the game and write code for it. When consensus is found the change can be made. Everybody would get a chance to speak up and change the game, because Everybody Edits.

For servers, allow users to support them by using their own computers to handle a little bit of server data. Users would be given gems in exchange. We wouldn't need purchases with real money since the users support the servers directly. Money corruption drama would no longer be a thing since there's no real money involved at all (outside of electricity and internet, which we already need to play the game anyway).

Is this idea extreme? Perhaps. But you don't have to talk all of it at once. Even just a little bit would help this game a lot, so please consider it.
