I can't believe you guys had the guts to release a time trial mode.

Don't get me wrong, it's brilliant and I love it.

Here's the problem: People are still lagging. How the hell is anyone supposed to do a time trial if they can't even get smooth fps on a flash game?

Lag used to never concern me whatsoever. I just never had a problem with it. After this update, not only can't I do time trials, I can't play any world, which is actually just outrageous.

Never did I think that I would actually have to address a common issue that everyone's pointing out, because this is just getting out of hand. I can't do anything in EE now.

I agree. First of all they need to take away the flippin snow effect. Its so annoying. It's just covering my screen and they don't even move consistently. I think they would have been nice for 1 day - Christmas, but they've been up for over a week and they're **** me off.

Pretty sure that snow effect in the lobby is gone now. :x

Edit: Just realized you meant on the website version. I play EXE.

That's one of the many reasons the Staff is working on EEU, because Flash is prehistoric technology and HTML5 will provide a much better, smoother game.

I never play on the web. I always, and I mean always, download the .swf directly from player.io. That way I can customise the game to my liking, exactly. (I have roughly 12 outdated versions of EE now, one of which dates back to 2014)
But even still, the game does get very laggy, and there isn't much I can do anymore.

you can get EE Perfect Loader, no need to download new versions every time

There shouldn't have been any decrease in performance in the last update, in fact we've improved quite a few things (including our profiling showing an around 30-50% improvement in performance in worlds)

The only thing that I'd think could possibly be slowing things down would be the snow, and as always there's minimal.everybodyedits.com for if you want to disable and fancy website design.

Let me know if you continue have to have performance problems after using the minimal website.

And there's the Flash Player projector which has a better performance than browsers' Flash.
