Is there a way to erase background while there is a foreground block

is there a way to erase bg while there is a foreground block or decoration on it

Start erasing on a spot with no foreground blocks on it and then hold and move your mouse to foreground blocks, you'll erase the bgs behind them

but what if theres bg surounding the bg

suggestion: id:0 in bg so we can erase bg easier

too hard what if the entire world revolves around every block so much so that if you replace the block it isnt how it was

if you cant remember a single block to remove and put it back later then i doubt you would be able to build a world like that at all
