People dont quite get why uniform stat changes are better than full customization for some reason. When you are playing a mini involving jump or speed effects, you think to yourself, "When I get this effect, I will jump this high, and go this fast." But adding multiple options for jump height means you never know what to expect. You gotta got to re-learn how much your smiley will move when you do any action and it just causes overall confusion.

If the jump effect is too strong for what you built, then just modify your world so it works. Its what we've been doing for years.

I still have to learn how to use low jump with high speed,  it breaks my mind

Allowing such customization, as freckleface said, will cause overall confusion
