Forum Messages

I see people making really cool posts with names spoilers, images in posts, and links.

Can someone give me a list / tutorial on how to make my posts better?

I'm mainly looking for: Images and naming spoilers, but if you can give more info I'd be glad to have it

Alternatively, there's the default FluxBB help page.

What I didn't learn D:
I still don't understand how to get the images into it, do you have to use discord for them?

You must host your images in an external image hosting service to be able to use them in any page, including the forums.

You can use Imgur, it's one of the most widely used image hosting services.
Once you upload your image, don't copy the post URL, or the image album URL. Right-click the image, and copy the link of it. Make sure it's a valid URL, and not a blob one. That's the image you'll post here.

Then you can easily post your image using the img tag like this:

[img=Mercury Takes Over Logo]https://i.imgur.com/FEdj8UT.png[/img]

What I didn't learn D:
I still don't understand how to get the images into it, do you have to use discord for them?

1) Go to https://imgur.com/ or any other website that holds your images (imgur is the best in my opinion so use that)
2) Click "New post" and follow the instructions to upload a image.
3) Hover your mouse over the image you've uploaded, a arrow pointing down should appear.
4) Hover over the arrow and click on "Get share links"
5) Copy everything from "BBCode (Forums)" tab.
6) Go to forums and paste the thing you have copied, the end.

OR...
If you have a image on the internet, but not imgur you need to:
1) Right mouse click the image > Open image in a new tab.
2) Copy the link.
3) Use the IMG tag and do this: [img]<put the link you have copied>[/img]
