Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

So, since EE has added in a small animation for the platinum big spender by using a small animation system, I would like to suggest two animations that could possibly use that system too. So without wasting any more time, let's get straight into it.
Animation 1:
This is the first animation. Originally made by TOOP, the fire smiley animation was to be added to EE but cut at a later date, hence why it's inside the Cut Content Archive right now.
Animation 2:
This is the second animation. Originally made by me, the propeller animation was made because of a suggestion from my good friend Seb135/The 135 Guy. I've never really had a reason to suggest it until now because at the time there was no animation system and Seb made one from scratch. Now that there is an animation system I think this would fit in well with other animations.
Just an idea I guess.
Thank you all for reading,

post GIFs of these
Why not APNG? They look better and have decent support. In fact, here you go:

Why not APNG?
I am pretty sure maxi wanted "any-animated-format-from-these-images", but it happens to be that GIFs are the most popular

I'd still say it would be best to use the frames as provided. And considering that EE now supports 26x26 smileys, I think the spacing between the fire smiley would need to be increased to match. And, do gifs work within the swf? or is it possible to add animated smileys as sprites and load them from there?

whatever puts the frames together and animates them
might as well upload a youtube video
ok the propeller looks lame on the part where it is pointing towards the camera
it feels more like the propeller just retracts the blades inside, instead of rotating
also should be faster imo

Wait, a moving image is not the same as a gif? Like gif is a type of moving image? I thought a gif was a moving image, like if it's a moving image it's a gif.

The way Everybody Edits animates smiileys and auras is simple. They use frames for each one that is animated. That is why I provided the frames for them.

Yeah, I will fix that. Don't forget that this was made quite a while ago. And thank you for the feedback, I'll be happy to update the frames

No I mean, HG said 'Why not APNG' so is that another file type of moving images, like png and jpg are both still? You can have Example.gif and Example.apng and both are the same right? Outside of file type ofcourse.

In my opinion yes. But again, they prefer to use .png's containing frames for animations

Example.apng
APNG is actually a .png file with extra animation data. APNG is better than GIF in many ways, for example GIF only supports (iirc) 256 colors.

How many more colors are there? I can't even come up with 50.

On a serious note, your monitor is made of pixels. One pixel is made of one of a mix of each red, green, and blue color like this:
For each of the color, you can choose a value between 0-255. Say for the red one for example. 0 being off, and 255 being red. You can't show a pixel color lower than 0, or redder than 255.
For the naked eye, it may seem like 255 and 254 are the same color values, but they are still slightly different.

Then why do my stickman GIFs have colors that aren't in 256 color pallette
oh wait, maybe Piskel converts all 16.7 million colors to those...

IIRC GIFs use indexed colour, so you can use any full 24 bit colours as long as you use at max 256 of them in any single frame.
This basically means that they store the colour palette as a list, then each pixel refers to a colour in that list, meaning that you usually end up with a slightly smaller file size.
