Congratulations to everyone who found the Copper Key! Time for some Clue Explanations:

As many of you realised, there was a hidden message in my signature, which I made the same color as the most common forum site theme.

Using a ROT-13 Cipher (where every letter is shifted 13 letters through the alphabet), this can be translated to:

"Four famous faces
Found around the oasis
Need to find three keys..."

As people haven't fully figured out what "Four famous faces" means yet, I'll leave that for now.

"Found around the oasis" - The "OASIS (Ontologically Anthropocentric Sensory Immersive Simulation)" is the central computer game found in the novel and movie "Ready Player One". Personally, I have watched the movie, and not read the novel.
"Need to find three keys..." - In order to unlock the Golden Easter Egg in "Ready Player One", players must find 3 keys, which are the Copper Key, Jade Key, and Crystal Key.

This overall haiku was meant to lay out the theme for this Golden Easter Egg in Everybody Edits, which is to find 3 Keys, and then use them to unlock the Golden Easter Egg. Overall, characters from "Ready Player One" play an important role in acquiring the keys.

I was very impressed with Helvi on this one.

This clue was to point you in the direction of which character in "Ready Player One" to focus on initially. "WOW!" refers to "Wade Owen Watts", and is set on 80s Pop Art to reference how much he enjoys that.

Theoretically, these 2 clues alone were enough to figure out how to get the Copper Key. Here are the steps:

Wade's OASIS username in "Ready Player One" was "Parzival".
Parzival is the title of the German version of the story of "Percival".
Sir Percival was one of the Knights of the Round Table, part of Arthurian Legends. He is most famous for retrieving the "Holy Grail", but I did think it would be unfair of me to include the earliest Halloween Trophy as part of acquiring the Copper Key. As such, I opted for a later part of the stories of Arthurian Legend where King Arthur wishes to return Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake.

Even though there are multiple versions of the legend, they almost all have something in common (although some state Bedivere or Griflet do this instead):

Percival refuses to carry out Arthur's dying wish, that he throw Excalibur into a pool of calm water, reasoning that the sword is too valuable to be lost.

As Arthur lay dying, he tells a reluctant Sir Percival to return the sword to the lake by throwing it into the water. Percival thinks the sword too precious to throw away, so twice only pretends to do so. Each time, Arthur asks him to describe what he saw. When Percival tells him the sword simply vanished underwater, Arthur scolds him harshly. Finally, Percival throws Excalibur into the lake. Before the sword strikes the water's surface, the hand reaches up to grasp it and pull it under.

Anyway, you didn't really need to know all that. All you really needed to know was that it was relating to Percival, Excalibur, and King Arthur being present. As such, to unlock the Copper Key, you had to speak to the Knight NPC (Percival, although I decided the actual naming of the NPC did not matter), who was holding Excalibur (The Sword Deco) as King Arthur (Templar wearing Crown):

The text spoken also doesn't matter.

I changed my location on these forums to "Camelot". Not only was this a reference to the fact to unlock the Copper Key required something related to King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, but also a direct reference to the description of the Knight NPC:

The mini hint that led to the full Hint #4 was "ApaHiskey--3ChoNdia".

The most common phonetic alphabet in the world is the NATO one, which is used to spell out letters, usually over the phone. As such, this translated as "Papa (P), Whiskey (W), Echo (E), India (I)".

As I'm sure many of you are aware, most Everybody Edits worlds start with "PW" and end in "EI". Also, many of them have a total of 13 letters. As such, the "3" referred to hint 3 being "Camelot", so the world in question could be accessed here:

That leads you to see a sign for Hint #4, reading:

This code uses a cipher were the letters are the opposite of what they would normally be in the alphabet, so A=Z, B=Y, C=X, and so on.

Translated, this gives us:

If you are the King
Of Knights of the Round Table
Claim Excalibur

So, you have to be the King of the Knights of the Round Table (King Arthur), claiming Excalibur (the sword deco) back from Percival (the Knight NPC). In some versions of the legend, as Percival couldn't do it, King Arthur reclaims the sword and enlists Sir Bedivere to complete the task of returning it to the lake instead, but then Sir Bedivere also returns to King Arthur saying he couldn't do it either, so he finally sends Sir Griflet to do the job.

So that's it so far! Although there were two more planned hints to find the Copper Key, I believe they are now unnecessary. Once you have collected the Copper Key, you see Hint #5.

Hint #1 is still particularly relevant to the overall Easter Egg. Hints #2-4 are only related to getting the Copper Key, and have no further meanings for finding other Keys.

I've been trying to decode that message that appears when you get the Copper Key, basically running it through many decryption methods on a website, and I think I successfully decoded it using a Keyboard Shift cipher. Basically, look at your keyboard. For each letter in the message, look at the key thats on the right of that letter's key (ex: q=w, s=d, g=h, ect.). That will decode the message to read "Missives Written".

Now, I have no idea if I'm right or what this could mean, but I feel were getting somewhere.

missive. A missive usually refers to the old-school style of hand-written communication on paper (remember that?), but these days you also might hear an email called a missive. No matter how you deliver it, a missive is a message. The noun missive comes from the Latin word missus, meaning "to send."

That's the most probable answer right now. It even kinda makes sense.
