Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

You and your overrated artists and overrated tracks. Pfft.
As someone extremely diverse in their taste of music, always listening to new stuff, and willing to become a music producer, there's never a favorite. There will always be new striking tracks that will change your mind.
However, I can say, that I have an huge preference for a specific artist, my idol, the artist who welcomed me to the world of the Electronic Dance Music, and motivated me to become a producer.

Anyways Yves Tumor's "Licking An Orchid" ft. James K has been on repeat recently for me
happy littLE CLOUDS
My taste in music changes every few months so I can't tell you my favorite song, but I've discovered this album recently and most songs in it are great. https://joshuamorse.bandcamp.com/album/ … collection

Ghost. Great sound. I've been going back and listening to their older works. Infestissumam is growing on me more than Prequelle or Meliora. Year Zero ofc being one of the best tracks off Infestissumam with Monstrance Clock and The Depth of Satan's Eyes following behind.

Literally 2 people named Artists before your comment. One of which is widely known. Calm down.

As of this day and age, I have been perusing the works of "Diablo Nemesis", which is a post-proto underground goth rock band based in East Germany. Their album, "Scissors Beware", is the pinnacle of modern day goth rock. From the 10 minute long intro that consists only of blade noises to the ephemeral screams of "Stealing Walmart Shopping Carts in Broad Daylight", Diablo Nemesis expresses their amorality and muses on the nihilistic attributes of the human race.
Besides that, one should also check out the music group entitled "Speech Dig". They emphasize on lo-fi guitar strums and math-rock-esque drum beats that require irrational time measures. Their eponymous album, "Speech Dig", contains 55 songs yet is only 32 minutes long. One of them, named "Bossa Groove 3", is 20 seconds and transports the audience to a club in Ecuador where the tenants pee on each other.
For the normie folk that don't appreciate goth rock or experimental lo-fi, the new Soundcloud rapper "Dichothomas" is a mind-blowing experience full of racial slurs and food / sex euphemisms. In his track titled "The Great Gestapo", he shouts with controlled fury, "Bees gotta gotta gotta / make the honey cheese gotta gotta / melt that [expletive] like Chef Boyardee". A user on the subreddit r/hiphopheads posted, "This line...I can taste his tears, his sweat...his grime....I want to taste it even more." The post was removed shortly afterwards for "promoting harmful behavior".
Despite these three bands, I will suggest some more artists for those who still are unable to acknowledge the previous masters of music.
Hardskull -- "Fish Shoes" (nu metal)
The Keys -- "Please Die" (psychedelic pop)
Stooger -- "Where Did My Father Go" (experimental blues rock)
Daisy Lakes -- "Groovin' on the Couch" (Christian downtempo)
Of Rice and Ren -- "Chungle" (indie avant-pop)
Four Four Four Quetzacoatl -- "Sitting in a Vat of Mayonnaise while Crying and Thinking about my Lost Love who Left me for a Better Man" (lo-fi trap)
