Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

If round thingies are campaigns, squares could be achievements!
etc.
(Don't judge graphics, they're bad (except gem one)/ judge the idea.)
achievements would be a nice thing to have in the reeboot
(if they dont revolve entirely around energy/gems/campaigns)
but, for a sandbox building game, how many possibilities for interesting achievements are there?
also is it just me or are your pinwheel graphics not centered properly

easy
Energy/gem
receiving (25K, 50K, 100K) (Gems: 50, 100, 200)
spending (35K, 75K, 150K) (Gems: 50, 125, 250)
"having at the same time" (depends on if energy stays, and my overfill the refill suggestion will be added) (Gems: 10, 25, 50)
per magic (5, 10, 25) (depends if magic gems will exist and how much)
per campaign (?) (?)
from daily login (2K, 7.5K, 15K)
Daily login
total playing time (being in the world and moving/playing) (24h, 48h, 72h, 100h, 150h)
total days joined (just joining lobby) (7, 14, 31, 62, 182, 365 .. the badge called "Veteran I", 730 "Veteran II") - also add veteran smilies (body or eye, or what?)
total days joined streak (7, 14, 31, 62)
Patreon
total patreon donated (2$, 10$, 50$, 100$, 250$, 500$, 1500$, 3500$)
monthly patron tier (%add to profile stats how much the user donates, if his profile is public%)
total Gems from patron (?)
Campaigns
this here is about recognising mini game kind
total hook jumps (10, 50, 250, 1000)
total jumps (100, 500, 1K, 2K, 5K)
total fly time, etc.
and this here for stats
total deaths (100, 250, 1K, 2.5K, 10K)
total easy wins (1, 5, 25, 100) = can replay campaigns for this stats
Builder
blocks placed (100, 1K, 10K, 100K, 1M)
worlds (5, 20, 50, 100)
total likes (10, 50, 150, 500, 1500)
total favorites (5, 25, 75, 250, 750)
Crew
subscribers, total likes, total favs, total plays, total world, members
i think that having energy/gems and daily logins are all we need, doing 1000 hookjumps sounds like a terrible badge to get and the rest could easily be exploited
Hey, great idea but I don't think it's gonna get added in current game.
Sounds like something really cool for EEU, which was mentioned above.

I like the most of Anatoly's ideas, but patreon achievments would be 100% Pay-to-win things.
EE is not about things, which are only available for money. It is nice to support the game, but some players can not do this.
Probably one more "Patron" badge would be a good idea, but I think achievements would have to be unlockable for everyone.
Other Achievements:
Smiley:
Smileys bought (5, 10, 25, 50 etc.)
Smileys owned (75, 150, 200 etc.)
Smileys used (10, 25, 50, 100 etc.)
Worlds:
Worlds won (other players' worlds without having GODmode or being teleported) (25, 100, 250 etc.)
Go back to one of your favorite worlds
Create an open world
Crews:
Buy a crew
Join somebody's crew
Edit the logo of your crew
Other:
Visit the forums (click to the link in EE)
Write to the chat in a world
Get edit in somebody else's world
But this topic is about more badge uses, so I think there should be a Patron badge, if it does not exist now.
This is my opinion.

i would much more like to see some actually interesting achievements, not just dumb generic "do/get X 5/25/100/1000 times"
magic achievements? Sounds amazing.
A 0.00001% chance to get a badge!
Id say no.

I'm against this idea of badge for hookjumps, but I believe this could detect SOME of the hookjumps?
easier:
check if you stay on block
if not, stop checking
if yes go to next step
check if 1 block above you is none on foreground, and 2 blocks above you is solid block (or one block above is solid block)
if not, stop checking
if yes go to next step
wait for player movement, and if he jump look if he doesn't touch any action block,
if he touch solid block *but not platform" from upper side, he did hook jump
that won't check as much tiles as in your examplee

It's impossible to check if a player has touched a block and there's a lot of checking. I do like your idea about no needing for that dumb wall I've, I don't know why didn't I think of that before.
The easiest way might be if player jumps check if no effects are on, check if block above isn't a foreground or a action block and if block above that is a regular foreground block. Also add a timer on jump and if player doesn't get on top of that foreground on <insert a time of how long does it take to make a hookjump and add a few more second / milliseconds just to make sure> hookjump is failed. Also check block id's around the hookjump area just to make sure player isn't going to use some arrows or portals (I believe you can check if a player has used portals anyways)

The jumping one is pretty easy. You just put a half block above you, hold space, press T and you can easily jump 5k in idk how much.

Guys, think of the lag. All this extra unnecessary lag.. for hookjump achievements. pls, they shouldn't be encouraged like this anyway.

The problem with achievements in EE is that:
On one hand, basic "do/get X 10^y times" is lame, achievements in a game are good when they are unique
On the other hand EE is a sandbox game with no goal at all and most potential achievements can be simply farmed which is no fun.
I have some ideas though:
- Big Friender - be in a world with X of your friends in it at the same time (I'd say X = 10)
- Zombie Rush - infect X players with zombie effect in less than Y seconds (I'd say X = 5; Y = 10 mayb)
- Element of Surprise - pass a curse onto another player when the timer is less than 1 second, and let the curse kill them
(Don't look at the names they're bad)

You said you can farm them. But if you get 5 friends in a world in the same time you could just make some alts, or ask people. For the zombie thing people could just take turns and stand in rows, and for curse you just put a 1 second curse above someone and drop inside it. So it is still pretty easy to cheat just like the jumping one.

literally whats the point of tying achievements to campaigns if we have badges for that and the OP implies that we should have badges for something else too, i.e. NOT CAMPAIGNS

thanks, captains obvious. i really didn't realize thats still farmable with alts
sarcasm aside, farmability applies to most achievements in any multiplayer game. you can just make a bunch of alts and farm achievements easily in most games. sadly, thats how it is
theres not much more achievements potential in this game. if you have some ideas, please go ahead and suggest. but ill say right away, yet again, that campaign related, magic related, energy/gem/jump/etc related achievements are RETARDED

There's no need to get this hostile, and no need to throw out "retarded" there either. We are all here to have fun..
Achievements don't really need to be a thing, as they're just "You did it!" notifications. Badges already act as achievements as with campaigns, they can be controlled. Almost anything else that can come up can be easily farmed, ultimately defeating the purpose of them. other sandbox games I've seen with achievements include tasks like: acquire iron, create an iron pickaxe, complete 50 quests, assemble 1 unique fossil, defeat the eye of cthulhu, defeat all bosses. Stuff you can't do in EE as the game lacks bosses (real bosses), resources, quests and the like. You have campaigns as the real source of achievements, and then there's the easy stuff as mentioned above.
If you ask me, the achievement is the sense of accomplishment itself- there's not really a need for a notification pop up. But I guess it is a thing that can keep people playing who wish to 100% the game, but I don't think it's really worth the effort if the achievements are gonna be stuff like "jump 1,000 times" or something.
