Why are there about 6 times more guests online than registered users most of the time?! why?!?!?

Bots, and I think if a guest clicks a few pages within 5-10-15 minutes or whatever the guest refresh timer is, it'll inflate the counter more than what's actually accurate. so 10 of those guests could be the same person.
