I really feel like this community actually has a high chance at being reinvigorated, which is due to the overwhelming work of the staff! That is my take on our entire situation right now, but this could of happened earlier. Really though the current staff is amazing, thanks guys! On another note though in the last two years we were in the dumps, mostly due to mismanagement; Nou. He seemed pretty out of place as an owner, and did literally nothing to benefit the game. I'm actually quite sad that he even really showed up to begin with, there was nothing here for him. I wasn't really around for the Mr Shoe era but I hear it was bad. Other than that I think the game has hit a point where EEu is going to really help the game out, instead of leaving it some flash game that nobody plays.

There are some good articles there which describe things that Mrshoe did, like for example the "guardian" article. :3

In terms of code, I see that nou's staff did A LOT. Sadly, it was in the wrong direction, but you can't say that they've done nothing, they've done a lot, that's why there were so many gaps between each update (although the coding could've been better )

Seems good. Hope they properly promote EEU to gain an influx of new players, whilst also having some plan on how to retain those players better than the last time EE had a 'boom'.

So now Staff is more open for new suggestions
it's easy to see that 2 months before we have regular updates, but thier regularity was like once per 3 months
in earlier 2 months there was about 5 updates (i know that update was smaller but still...), so i think new staff is better
(probably because Reeboot is so close)
but earlier staff didn't do so strange mistakes like "add to crew button" dissapearance (but still human errors are human errors)

Tbh I'm really confident that Xenonetix could make a change to the game, and I trust that it might be working to gain more players, adding that the game would turn better if the ownership was long-termed to him.

I think the current staff team is Everybody Edits' best shot for a bright future. They've got a strong development and design team. I wish them good luck with the reboot.

It's kinda funny you made this topic, a few of us were talking about this last night.

I'll start with mrshoe, as I was never really around to see how things were under Chris's management.
I think he done well, an unpopular opinion, I know. He catches a lot of **** for his weekly updates, but I don't have any complaints. Nothing stands out to me as being absolutely horrible, so I'm not sure where that stems from.

His year long hiatus doesn't help win him any fans, but he has a good reason. MrShoe did not own everybody edits, his boss did. His boss would not let him work on EE because of more important projects (LEGO), ones that made way more money. When guardians were first implemented, MrShoe was allowed to work on EE 3 hours a week. That meant doing anything related to EE: answering emails, talking to the guardians in the group chat, and creating updates. Sometimes, he wouldn't even get that.

Right before NVD took over, Shoe told us there was two options: take over ownership, or EE would be shut down.

I guess that leads me to NVD. He got **** done, and probably one of the few that didn't want to be in the spotlight showing off his almightyness. It's unfortunate that he couldn't devote more time to it. I had high hopes when he took over the second time.
NVD's first attempt ran smoothly until the team grew way to large for him to handle.

I don't even want to talk about Nou's team (during my time as a staff member). By far, it was the worst. There was so little communication, a lot of fighting, back stabbing, and manipulation. We were basically working against each other all the time. At one point there was like 10 or so members, and like half were never around. I give Nou a lot of **** for his management, because I think it was **** poor, but I wouldn't say he "did literally nothing to benefit the game." Nou brought many good ideas and changes to the game, most notable being campaigns.

Maybe with a different team, Nou would have been able to accomplish more. Who knows?

I think the current team is probably the best there's been this far. They really seem to have their **** together. Everything seems organized, well structured, and the team seems to get along well. I have my doubts on the progress being made on the reboot, but they keep making promises that it's coming.

the are all the same, and have the same intention, same ee game with just a new title no reboot, new blocks n stuff, and then some staffs go depressed and soon the game will be sold again for money,

I second Jawapa's comment. Everything up until Nou taking over is 100% accurate, however, by the time Nou did come around, I had things going on in my life, so I didn't witness as much. Everything about Mrshoe only being able to work on EE 3 hours a week is completely true. I wonder how Mrshoe is doing. Jawapa, you ever talk to him?

Cape Cph is now gone so I guess he has a new job now. He has also shaven his head. I will send him a message in Skype when EEU is launched so he can check it out.

What I can definitely say about the current team over the last few is the increasing amount of community interaction that the team members have with the rest of the playerbase. It's refreshing because there are open lines of communication between the admins and the community, and honestly it's something that can very easily be neglected if the team is tirelessly working on a project as ambitious as EE Universe.
