Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

1. It's not always spam (minor) which is the category it falls under
2. Editing your own posts makes you look less reputable and generally is rude and distasteful

3. I am still adding new content to the topic so this post can't result in a warning

4. If you need to add something you forgot and you don't want to edit your post and look distrustworthy, you are SCREWED!!!
5. Spam (minor) is a very human warning and like all human things it should be moderated by a human not a robot (whatever script they use to run the hummerz account), and should be dealt with on an individual case by case context sensitive basis that takes into account the context and intent instead of robotically seeing 2 posts in a row (that may serve a purpose???) and pressing the ban button (hummerz script error)

6. Am I just making this topic begging to be banned because I'm already sick of the forums? Only time will tell if this will become an intellectual discussion or a 1 AM idiot who bans himself .

I think the general idea is to edit your original post if it's just minor changes or if it's major changes but you only just posted it, and to make a new post for major changes a while later.
Also what's so wrong about editing your posts? The only time it's a problem is if someone has already quoted you, but if they've already posted then you wouldn't be double posting, and them posting after you've edited your post happens so rarely that it doesn't really matter (and it's only a problem if you've changed some previous content)

1. There's no rule against multiposting. There's a warning against spamming, which this is.
2. No, you're wrong.
3. No, you're wrong.
4. No, you're wrong, see #2.
5. Yes, you're right.
