Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Hey, just wanted to post this here if anyone is interested.
Sonar, which used to cost around 400$, is now known as Cakewalk and it's also completely free! It's pretty much like any other DAW (basically a software for making music), so it's a great alternative for paid ones like FL studio or Ableton.
It doesn't come with many instruments, but there are lots of great free VSTs online, so that shouldn't be a problem. One good site for those is Bedroom Producers Blog.
So if you're interested in making music, but don't want to spend money on software (or crack software), this is pretty great for you.

Huh, I didn't know it was free! I swear it used to be paid or something. I have an FL Studio demo and also Ableton Live Lite 9 so I might check this out as well. (Ableton is serving me well though, even if it's just the lite version)
As far as I know it became free this year. If you already have a daw you like, there probably isn't much point in switching. All programs have some unique features though, you never know what you might find.

As someone interested in composing music this is a boon! Thank you.
