Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

Everybody Edits Roadmap

Now I'm pretty sure you've seen at least one of those "YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST" replies to a suggestion. Maybe you even wrote one of those just to be one of the c00l kidz.

What I'm trying to suggest here is an easy way for us to see what features were officially accepted and being worked on, (and not one of those I'll let the rest of the staff know answers, because that doesn't mean anything) and what popular suggestions were officially rejected. That would give us an idea of what is happening behind the scenes, so people will stop suggesting the same thing while we get the transparency we should get.

It would help us even if it's just a locked topic in one of the subforums, and making it is not time consuming at all assuming the responsible person actually informed the rest of the staff members and discussed it in-depth.

Re: Everybody Edits Roadmap

Just so you know, those "I'll discuss it with the rest of the staff" posts are intentionally vague. We probably shouldn't be giving definate answers even if we are currently working on the feature, just in case we find a problem with it or decide against it later on, which could cause confusion and might mean people get annoyed / upset (think the UnitEE announcements / delays on a smaller scale, but less important that the community knows in the first place).

If there is ever something important, I'm fairly sure we would let you know though (as we already have for most of our big plans). The goal of this is to make sure we don't mislead the community, not to intentionally withhold important information.
