weird key and key gate bug

Me and a friend "Toxicma2" were making a death run map when we found this weird bug today.

So it looked like this:

2 is switch, r is key, g is key gate.

The bug is: When the player enters while holding right,  the player will be stopped by the gate. But if the player entered without holding right, the player will go through the gate without being stopped.
Very weird.
