consider [minimap][/minimap]

This feature has been requested multiple times and has even been possible at one point but is now a very real possibility due to the MinimapViewer API. The MinimapViewer API API is even open source so you could host your own version of the MinimapViewer API if you so desired to do so, so should the API somehow die, there can always be others to host the same service.

I was thinking you could turn something like

[minimap]PW01[/minimap]

into

[url=https://www.everybodyedits.com/games/PW01][img]https://mm.sirjosh3917.com/PW01[/img][/url]

If using an API doesn't settle with you, you can always use PlayerIOClient's Javascript SDK and minimapjs to put something together.

Same rules as images I guess, put it in a trigger tag if it needs censoring. I guess there are a few special cases such as free edit worlds which may make it a bit more complicated, but I guess its up to the poster to either censor the image or remove the content from the world.

but the minimap tag is just like img? or the image chnages whenever you save?

The image is cached on the server for 24 hours before it ever decides to change, but yes the image will change when you save. So yes, the image does change when you save ( but not right as you save, expect to wait 24 hours before it changes )

EDIT: submitted an issue to remind me to add a feature to change the cached image
