Do you think I could just leave this part blank and it'd be okay? We're just going to replace the whole thing with a header image anyway, right?

wait are you saying that is what translator say? or you and others?

im saying that whoever runs the account "translator" should stop because it's extremely rude to create an account solely for correcting grammar

How about we just don't correct people? It probably **** them off to be corrected cause they don't know proper English. I know I would.

Re: A bare minimum of grammar on the forums.

i wouldn't be angry, unless they were angry at me and shouted at me to correct it, but fi they did it without any insults or anything ba fi wouldn't care.

so i would be ??????

becuse i don't agree with("everyone will be angry theory") which is made up by one person and they only know them selves and cannot speak for others

Re: A bare minimum of grammar on the forums.

i support the idea of banning these translation posts.
they dont really add anything new to the topic and should be considered spam just as much (if not more than) as the original unreadable posts

Hello my brother in arm. I hereby took the opportunity to fix your loyal sentences in order to make them easier to visualize.

whats more demeaning? having someone correct you or getting a warning point

also as far as getting offended by corrections goes, you’re supposed to learn corrections, not get butthurt because of them

they both suck, but at least getting a warning point alerts you to how no one can read what you're saying without having someone make an account just to make you legible. im not saying it's the best solution, because honestly it is an unsolvable problem. but warnings are better.

then how about you dont say "This makes no sense, I need help deciphering his post."

why not? that would just make it even more demeaning - everyone would ignore their posts since they can’t read them

this happened with peace

May I refer you to this topic as well: https://forums.everybodyedits.com/viewt … p?id=42286

I'm talking about one specific user, I won't say his name. His grammar is alright, but his orthography is borderline a joke, as if he was typing fast and not correcting his words

Example:

Clean version:

I'm talking about one specific user, I won't say his name. His grammar is alright, but his orthography is borderline a joke, as if he was typing fast and not correcting his words

Worst version: im talking aobut sppecifisc user, i wont cay his name his graamar is alright bur hie orthsoggraphy is broderline a joke as i fhe was tpying fast and jot vorrecting his words

It seriously gives me an headache every time I read his posts, and the "Just don't read his posts mate" doesn't apply there, because he just posts on every single topic and it's **** annoying

Do something about it

Idk, not reading posts works pretty well for me. I haven’t accidentally glanced at one and had an instant aneurism.

Besides, it’s up for debate whose content is healthier to read; yours or the subject’s.

Plenty of people with better spelling post more often than them and I ignore most of their posts. This sounds like your own personal problem. Maybe these forums are lacking a block feature, but we kind of already moved past this anyways.

Well see Kiras first language is also not English, but it is clear that he is actually making a decent attempt when writing his posts.
