I Hate This Ghost Player Bug

I-I don't even understand... I feel so livid right now, and this is just unacceptable. -.-

Note: Laggy computers have nothing to do with this bug.

I really don't know what's causing this to happen. I'm also not aware if there are other people that had experienced this issue.

I'm sorry if you don't understand this bug, but I think I should just calm down for now, because I'm not sure how to make my explanation more clear, and less vague.

You know this eagle ain't lying when he can smell things miles away from him, all thanks to his super powerful sense of smell. (Idc if this image doesn't fit, lol.)
Idk what my profile icon is supposed to be, lol. Activeness: Infrequent ¯\_(º_o)_/¯
Boring fact: Used to have a 709+ daystreak, but lost it due to my memory error...and then eventually lost my 263+ daystreak, also due to my memory error. (Was I sane at that time...?)
Fun fact: If you happen to see my username or Sticksam on Twitter/x or on other sites, that's actually a different person, NOT me. I never use Twitter/x. I just wanted to clear up the confusion a bit for those who are not aware of this, lol.
I honestly know little to nothing about them when I first saw those names on the internet. XD (Might have to give myself a bit of a different nickname at some point in the future.)

yes i felt that bug sometimes i even felt it  sometimes wih my friends we were playing in one of our worlds and had to tp a 'ghost' of my firend awaywho simpy wqas sitting there

It shouldn’t happen in the first place, and I never log out. Logging back in is too much of a pain!

I mean click "goto lobby". I guess client doesn't detect browser refresh or something, that's why server doesn't close the connection and you get a ghost player

Does it disappear eventually?
If the answer is no, then you really do need to fix it, there are plenty of exploits, e.g. the lobby thing, that could be used if this isn't resolved
Otherwise I guess it doesn't matter that much, although you shouldn't just ignore bugs

I know, I think the server needs to be restarted or something. I don't know if that fixes it or not, but still, this bug really needs to be fixed.

The client should always know how someone exits the game.

Yes, but the client takes too long to finally realize a player refreshed the page, and remove their ghost selves so they can get back in. That's the bug I was talking about. :/

This could maybe be fixed with variables on the site. Like all other variables the client read and send through the site.
