can someone explain binary (using ee swithces)

what is the formula for binary for switches i want to try if its possible to make an idle gam ein ee

I have no idea if you want to know what binary is or want to build it, so ima tell u both

Decimal is how we normally count, we count with 10 numbers, (dec = 10) 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0
Binary is pretty much the same, but with only 2 numbers, 1 2
let me demonstrate.
01011 = 11
because
00001 = 1
00010 = 2
01000 = 8
and those together = 11

EDIT: Here's how to build a somewhat working binary machine (I used 500-505 cuz I have other switches)

EDIT: i know the answer its 2^x makes if i use all switches in ee i have 1,07150860718626732094842504906e+301 posebilitys making an idle game poss if we have a save system
